Kids will be so excited to break the tissue paper for each day’s surprise! ### How to create a DIY advent calendar One of the best parts about this project is how easy it is to put together. All you need are: - Posterboard - Tissue Paper - 25 Rubber Bands - 25 [Solo Cups](https://solocup.com/products/18-oz-plastic-party-cup/) - Marker - Glue - 25 items for the surprises Start by gluing the base of each Solo Cup to your poster board. We liked creating a 5x5 box and adding a bow at the top so it looked like a Christmas gift. Then add a surprise to each cup. Place a piece of tissue paper over the top of the cup and secure it with one of the rubber bands. Once each cup is finished label them 1 through 25 and you’re good to go! Have fun creating what is sure to be a great new holiday tradition!
